4. Purposes for Which We Use Information
- To respond to inquiries, provide estimates, dispatch response crews, and schedule and perform services;
- To document the condition of your property, the scope of work, and the results of our services;
- To coordinate with your insurance carrier and prepare, submit, and support documentation for a claim, as authorized by you;
- To process payments, invoice, and maintain business, tax, and warranty records;

5. Legal Bases for Processing
We process personal information as necessary to perform a contract with you, to pursue our legitimate business interests in operating and improving the Services, to comply with our legal obligations, and with your consent where required. Where our processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
6. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information in exchange for monetary consideration, and we do not "share" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined by the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act. We may disclose information as follows:
- Service providers and processors who host our website, process payments, deliver messages, provide analytics, manage customer relationships, store records, or support field operations, subject to written obligations restricting their use of the information;
- Trade partners and subcontractors who assist in performing restoration, reconstruction, testing, hauling, and related services;
- Your insurance carrier, adjuster, program administrator, and third-party administrator, when you authorize us to assist with a claim;
- Professional advisors, including attorneys, accountants, and auditors, engaged to advise the business;
- Government authorities, courts, and other parties, when we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law, subpoena, warrant, or other legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of any person;
- Successors in interest, in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction, subject to customary confidentiality obligations.
Mobile-Message Data Sharing Restriction. No mobile information — including your phone number, opt-in status, or consent details relating to our SMS or text-messaging program — will be shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Information related to the messaging program may be shared only with subprocessors that support the delivery of our messages (for example, our messaging platform and telecommunications carriers), and only as necessary to operate the program.
7. Text Messaging and Telephone Communications
When you provide a mobile telephone number and request contact or otherwise opt in, you consent to receive telephone calls and text messages from AZA Restoration relating to your inquiry, appointment, project, invoice, and, where separately authorized, marketing and educational content.
- Message frequency varies based on your interaction with us; typical volume is fewer than ten messages per month per active matter.
- Message and data rates may apply. Charges are set by your mobile carrier, not by AZA Restoration.
- You may request assistance at any time by replying HELP or by contacting us at the details in Section 2.
- You may unsubscribe from non-transactional text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you unsubscribe you may receive a final confirmation message.
- Opting out of marketing text messages does not remove you from service-related messages that are necessary to perform a service you have requested or to comply with law.
- AZA Restoration is not affiliated with any mobile carrier, and carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Your consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
8. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We and our service providers use cookies, pixel tags, local storage, and similar technologies to operate the Services, remember preferences, secure sessions, analyze traffic, and measure the performance of our content. These technologies may be provided by us or by third parties acting on our behalf. You may control cookies through your browser settings; certain features may not function if cookies are disabled. Where we are required to obtain consent for non-essential cookies, we will do so through a compliant mechanism on the Services.
9. Analytics and Interest-Based Advertising
We may use analytics and advertising services, including services provided by Google and comparable providers, that help us understand how visitors use the Services and, where applicable, deliver advertisements that may be of interest. These providers may set cookies or use similar technologies subject to their own policies. You may opt out of certain interest-based advertising through the Digital Advertising Alliance, the Network Advertising Initiative, or your device settings.
10. Your Virginia Consumer Privacy Rights
If you are a resident of the Commonwealth of Virginia and our processing is subject to the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act, you have the following rights, subject to statutory exceptions and reasonable verification:
- Right to Confirm and Access. To confirm whether we process your personal data and to access that data;
- Right to Correct. To correct inaccuracies in your personal data, taking into account the nature of the data and the purposes of processing;
- Right to Delete. To delete personal data provided by, or obtained about, you;
- Right to Portability. To obtain a copy of personal data you previously provided in a portable, readily usable format, where technically feasible;
- Right to Opt Out. To opt out of processing for purposes of targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, or profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
Submitting a Request
To exercise your rights, contact us at info@azarestoration.com with the subject line "Privacy Rights Request" or call (571) 506-6668. We will verify your identity using information reasonably necessary to confirm the request, and we may deny requests that we cannot verify. We will respond to verified requests within forty-five (45) days and may extend the response period by an additional forty-five (45) days when reasonably necessary, with notice.
Authorized Agents
You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We may require written authorization and verification of the agent's identity before processing the request.
Right to Appeal
If we decline to take action on your request, you may appeal our decision within a reasonable period after our response by contacting us at the address in Section 2 with the subject line "Privacy Appeal." We will respond within sixty (60) days. If your appeal is denied, you may contact the Virginia Office of the Attorney General to submit a complaint.
11. Rights of Residents of Other Jurisdictions
If you reside in another jurisdiction that grants you rights over the processing of personal information, you may contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or other rights available under applicable law. We will consider and respond to your request consistent with those laws and our operational needs.
12. Data Retention
We retain personal information for the period reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, including to satisfy documentation, tax, warranty, insurance, audit, and legal-preservation obligations. Retention periods vary based on the category of information and the purpose for which it was collected. When information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete, deidentify, or securely archive it.
13. Data Security
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of personal information under our control. Despite these safeguards, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and any devices used to access the Services.
14. Children's Privacy
The Services are directed to adults and are not intended for children under thirteen (13) years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under thirteen. If we learn that we have collected such information without verifiable parental consent, we will delete it. A parent or legal guardian who believes a child has provided information may contact us using the details in Section 2.
15. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Some browsers transmit a "Do Not Track" signal or a Global Privacy Control preference. Where required by applicable law, we treat a recognized Global Privacy Control signal as a request to opt out of the sale of personal data or targeted advertising, to the extent we engage in those activities. Because a common industry standard for Do Not Track has not been finalized, we do not otherwise respond to Do Not Track signals.
16. International Data Transfers
We operate in the United States, and information collected through the Services is processed here. If you access the Services from outside the United States, you understand and consent to the transfer, processing, and storage of your information in the United States, which may not provide the same protections as your jurisdiction.
17. Third-Party Links and Integrations
The Services may contain links to, or integrations with, third-party websites, applications, or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing personal information.
18. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. The "Last Updated" date at the top identifies the most recent revision. Material changes may be announced through the Services or another reasonable means. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of any change constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
